rules ;
--you must follow all of these.

1.) be respectful. there's no need to be rude towards any staff member or any member on this site. this also goes hand in hand with discrimination. it will not be tolerated at all. you will immediately be banned from this site if i find anyone discriminating others in any way whatsoever. i do not like it one bit, and i'm sure a lot of other people don't either. in character, you are allowed but please keep it to a minimum and don't take advantage of this rule.

2.) drama is spectacular but only in roleplay. that's what this site is all about. dramatic events occuring within jackman, maine. just don't be a drama queen if you don't get your way ooc. like no dramatic ooc fights because she said this and he said that. there really is no need for ooc drama.

3.) no mary sues' or gary stus'. nobody is perfect. everyone has flaws and everyone makes mistakes. now, this doesn't mean that you should go off and automatically become 'the worst person alive' either. just make a character that's realistic. like as in real life people. with flaws, quirks, goals, hopes, fears, et cetera.

4.) no powerplaying or godmodding. you are certainly not god and you cannot control others. this is a twilight roleplay, no one has powers that can control others (the only powers that are accepted are things like seeing the future, mind reading, with flaws added of course). plus, it seriously annoys a lot of people. including myself. and roleplay isn't any fun when your character is being controlled by another. or you're basically controlling someone's and it's boring because then you take away all the surprise of how the other person's character is going to react.

5.) please try your best with spelling. yes, i know, we all have mistakes from time to time. but that's what the spell check at the bottom is for. we love that little button here. it will do wonders for you if you're not a very good speller. also, capitalization and punctuation would be nice. yes, i'm not using capitals in these rules, but guess what? this isn't a roleplay thread, sweetie.

6.) one character per account please. it gets confusing if you have like five characters on one account, believe me, i've tried it. also, each person is allowed to have up to five active accounts. any more than that, you have to ask permission and we, the admins, must know that you are very active with the ones you already have at the time. also, you may only take up to two canon characters at the max. which means just spread your creativity throughout original characters. although, you are only allowed ONE major canon, the other one should be a smaller part. that way it's fair to everyone. like, you can't play edward and bella.. but you can play edward and maybe edward's father. etc etc.

7.) be active. if you're going away or something, let us know so we can be prepared. we don't want people to join and then just up and leave. it's annoying and headache giving. if you're just going to join and then delete your account, then don't join at all. we want actives members and i bet you do too. more people to roleplay with.

8.) no one liners people. those things are ugly and mean. it's pure torture to only do oneliners. write at least two paragraphs or more. seriously, it's not that hard. just use very descriptive words like what your character sees, smells, hears, et cetera. also, so we know you've read these rules, put peanutbutterandjelly for the option 'secret' on the application.

9.) the cbox is there for members to communicate with each other, it's a lot faster and easier than private messages. just don't abuse this privilege by posting random links or images. if you wanna shares links and images, use the private messaging system. it's swell in that area. also, don't abuse private messaging privileges either. no spamming other members, please. which also includes that if you harrass another member by sending them advertisements of your site, you will be banned for good; period.

10.) signatures, at the most, should be 500x400 because, i don't know about you, but it annoys me when the page is stretched. and, any bigger than that, would take forever to load. and some people have really slow computers. like dinosaur computers. so why not cut them a break and not have a huge signature. avatars can only be 100x100 at the most if you've ever noticed when you edit your profile.

registering at `Till Death Do Us Part concludes that you will follow these terms and conditions. you will not break these nor argue with a staff member over them. if you have any issues with the rules, themself, contact the main admin account. if you need anything explained, or wish to suggest a rule to add, please private message the main admin.

these rules can, and most likely will the updated. you must check back often in case of a an addition or revision of any rule. i will most likely update you guys when i have modified these, but just in case.
