The sky had gone to a threatening gray, almost fooling everyone that it might rain again. Rain was such a wonderful thing, you know. Especially to Jasper. He loved it.. he could dance around in it for eternity. Although, he couldn't exactly do that, of course. But the feelings and sensations the filled up his very core burst out while he sang in the pouring droplets of water. His eyes glanced to the sky, watching them with a peculiar interest that was much more than just intruiged. There was a small smile planted on his thin lips, making him look a bit thoughtful. Running a pale hand through his hair, he watched the dark clouds move with grace across the sky. The air surrounding him was slightly humid, but that didn't bother him. Jasper pulled himself away from his throughts and looked about. There was no one around.. school was over, everyone had gone home long ago. He was sitting at one of the tables outside of the school buildings.. just sitting. School wasn't one of his favorite places, but he had needed to get away from home for a little while. Things weren't all that fantastic ever since Bella had founded that new student.. Edward. A snort escaped from his nose as he thought about the mere human. Jasper certainly didn't condone having him around... it just made it harder for this vampire to control himself around the blood which ran in the veins of him. Scolding himself for thinking about drinking the blood of Bella's beloved boyfriend, he gazed at the tar on the ground. Many things had happened all too fast for him. Yes, he was used to having to be quick in sudden arrangements, but this was far too much for him to handle. Was he really being selfish? Rosalie had thought he was being self-centered.. and she might be correct in this case. Honestly, he didn't want to believe her cold and harsh words.. but in all reality, he knew it was true. He placed his head into his hand and stayed like that for about an hour.. looking as if he were a statue, chiseled out of flesh and bone. Was it really wrong to be this miserable? He hardly thought so.. but he doubted that he would become happy if something incredible happened. Miracles seemed to stray far, far away from him. His luck was poor and his mood was negative. Who could blame him? Jasper was usually and upbeat kind of person, but lately.. it hasn't been the same. Truth be told, he was ashamed of his pessimistic emotions and cold shoulder towards his family. Alice couldn't even figure out what the problem was within his life. A small sigh errupted from Jasper's mouth as he tried to bring his mind to something more happy and peppy.. but it wasn't working out all that magnificent yet. Why did life for eternity have to become so aggravating? You would think it was fun when you are mortal.

A cold wind sent a bit of a shiver over her flesh and Sera cursed herself for forgetting her jacket. Blue eyes gazed skyward as she stared at the dark clouds. If it was going to be cloudy it might as well rain. That might lift her spirits a bit. A chocolate kiss would do, though.
The girl slowly her pace as she reached into a side pocket of her bag, pulling out a bag of kisses and popping one in her mouth. Instantly she picked up the pace again, determined to reach her class on time. Ever since her bratcat, Cairo, killed her alarm clock she'd been unable to wake up on time. Her father was, of course, out of town and her spending cash was running low, so instead of using her gas-hog truck to get anywhere she'd been biking to school. Which still made her late. Sera laughed at herself as she ruffled through her bag still. She probably looked like a mess.
Glancing up from her disorganization, she spotted a fairly familiar figure. A classmate from her algebra class. Finally, some good luck, maybe he knew what homework was due today. As well as being on time, she was determined to not look like some idiot who didn't have her homework. "Hey!" Sera headed in his direction, shaking her head to clear her mind a bit.
Upon reaching him, she noticed he seemed a bit troubled. Oops... she thought, feeling a bit foolish. What could be bothering him? Well, anything she supposed. Still, she was already only a couple feet from and had called out to him so it was a bit late to keep on walking.
Sera put on a smile, as if she hadn't noticed he looked down. Sure, sometimes people wanted someone to notice their problems to vent or whatever, but he seemed more like the person who didn't want people to notice.
And, truth be told, she had been itching to talk to him. The boy was rather curious. "Jasper, right?" She began, coming to a stop on the other side of the table. "I was wondering, do you remember what the algebra homework was?"

Staring off into the distance, he couldn't exactly grasp his mind around the fact that he was actually a bit insecure. Yes, he knew deep down that he was, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it. All of these thoughts were suddenly interrupted by an almost familiar voice. Mister Hale looked up at the girl as she stood on the other side of the table he sat at. His face was hard, but not in a cold way. More like his previous thinking phase. Waiting until she finished talking, he turned his body completely towards her as he looked at her, his eyes a butterscotch color. "Yes.. the homework was page one hundred and fifty seven, numbers seven through thirty eight." His voice was clear yet smooth as he spoke, a small hint of a texan accent hidden beneath his vocals. This vampire was born in Texas and he had gotten rid of the accent after a while, but he enjoyed having that small tint when he talked. Gave him character, he thought. A small smile formed on his lips as he eyed her. He knew that she wasn't exactly the best Algebraic student, so he waved his hand gently at the seat across from him. Gesturing for her to sit, he took his book out of his bag and put it on the table. Looking at her from under his lashes, Jasper watched her curiously. "Will you be seeking help with your Algebra?" He asked, biting his lip a bit. He didn't want to seem forward or like a know-it-all, but he was sure he could help her. She was a mere human, after all. Alice had gone home for the day so he was slightly lonely anywho. Plus, he didn't mind helping another student in need. Jasper was a bit intelligent and year of practice have definitely benefited that part of him. Flipping open his book at human speed, he turned to the page that the homework was on, awaiting for her answer.
[[sorry it took so long and that it's a bit short. x.x]]
