 It’s no secret that Bella Swan fell for both Edward Cullen and Jacob Black but her heart led her straight to the bloodsucker. Jacob was left torn apart and left not willing to see the girl he was in love with marry the enemy.
But what happens when Jacob returns just after the vows are exchanged and the party starts? And what if he isn’t alone?
Lexington Dubois ran from home after a particularly bad spat with her parents. With no sense of where she was going or what she was doing she simply got in the car and drove. She was not to know that it would be the biggest mistake of her life…
One night, while stretching her legs Lexington met a handsome man. A newly born vampire just over a year old and was blinded by his beauty and grace. The façade soon fell when he attacked her to feed his thirst. Isn’t it fortunate that Jacob was near by to destroy the rogue vampire and save the girl? The moment Jacob set eyes on Lexington a whole new sensation came over him. One that compelled him to pick up her limp body and move back towards Forks. He knew that she would become one of them and the safest place for her to be would be with the Cullens.
With all this going on Edward refuses to change Bella. The last thing the area needs is two newborn vampires. Even if Edward refuses to help Lexington out.
If the newborn wasn’t bad enough the pack have picked up on Jacob’s thoughts about her. Sam warns Jacob to be wise about the way he moves. Falling for Bella was one thing but imprinting on a vampire is unacceptable. Jacob refuses to listen and forms his own pack joined by Seth and Leah, and yet he refuses to allow himself near Lexington even though he knows she’s his imprint.
And what of the Volturi, I hear you ask? They have stopped lurking in the shadows and are becoming more prominent in the world thanks to a group of slayers. The Volturi have become more ruthless and are ready to destroy vampire over the smallest of things to keep the race safe, or more likely to save their own skin. What is Carlisle to do when vampires from all over the world begin to visit him in hope of answers?
